Every stem at Azihman's Growing Things starts with a single seed - or if you do it my way - with an itsy sprinkle of seeds, a prayer and a held breath.

Sowing really is easy, but the intention behind each seed initiates a loving process which can bloom into a lifelong relationship.

This September in the garden we're sowing Autumn vibes. I finally brought my infant collards outside to harden off, and the coleus are so big that they have outgrown their baby 4in planters.

Dahlia's are in an experimental stage and pretty dodgy, but the success of these delicate Pentunias is giving me new hope!

Hopefully before the season closes....drumroll... Celosia Red Flames. They look very sturdy, and are getting tough in the shade until they grace the store shelves. What are you planting this September?
